  I’ve been attending lessons with Hayley at Sono Music for a few months, and I’ve had a couple of singing teachers before but I love lessons with Hayley because of how kind and supportive she is. Being an anxious adult singer, the most important thing about a singing lesson is the environment and how the teacher makes you feel during a session. It is very hard to get a good sound if you’re not relaxed, and I never have this problem with Hayley. Hayley makes singing fun and energising and my boyfriend loves it when I come home from singing because I’m always in such a good mood. I think he’d like me to take lessons every day! He also comments on the increasing strength and tone of my voice, which is partly due to increased confidence as well as improved technique.
  
  What I like about Sono Music as a whole is that while sitting in the waiting room, you often see other teachers coming in and out of their rooms and it’s very easy to see and feel that they love their work and are excited to be there, which gives the place a really warm and welcoming vibe. There’s also a mix of adult and child students, so if you’re an adult thinking about joining Sono, you won’t be out of place. Sono feels like a proper grown-up music school, not like a children’s school that also serves adults.
  
  I’d definitely recommend Sono to anyone who wanted to learn music and they also run weekend workshops on various topics, but I haven’t made my way to one of those yet. I really want to though!
